TURTLE NECK

Aturtle neck is a high, tubular, often rolled-down collar that fits closely about the  neck. Turtle neck clothes can be sexy and elegant too. Makes the neck appear longer and slimmer. I love the fact that the last pic is a combo of a turtle neck, keyhole and surplice.

SCALLOP NECKLINE

A scallop is a common name applied to many species of marine bivalve mollusks in the family Pectinidae, the scallops.  The beautiful scallop neckline was derived from this marine creature A scallop The scallop neckline can take on any shape. From V, to square, to scoop, to keyhole, strapless etc. Like other necklines, the scallop design can be used on other places depending on creativity. JEWEL NECKLINE

Image
The jewel, crew and scoop necklines are all round in shape. The Jewel and crew are very similar and almost not easy to differentiate. Some people classify them as same thing and some as different. Also, because of its name "Jewel", most jewel neckline clothes are already embellished at the neckline giving it a jeweled look. A jewel neck is a plain, basic neckline that is rounded and reaches just above the collarbone. The jewel neck was named after its ability to showcase a piece of jewelery such as a  pendant  or brooch against the fabric, so that the eye is drawn upward to the jewelery and the face. Jewel necks are featured on a wide variety of both men’s and women’s garments, including T-shirts, sweaters, and dresses. Jewel necks are also particularly common in workout wear, and often featured on bodysuits, cycling shirts, ...

GATHERED NECKLINE

Gathred Neckline as the name suggests are necklines with gathers. Gathers adds bulk, hides flaws and are used to design clothes in other areas apart from the neck. Gathers necklines would help add bulk at the bust areas for people who are not busty or for people looking to add bulk in the bulk area.

HALTER NECK

Image
Different styles of halter neck H alterneck  is a style of strap which holds up women's clothing which features a single strap or material which runs from the front of the garment around the back of the wearer's neck, and which enables most of the wearer's back to be uncovered. The term is derived from the halter, which is placed around an animal's neck. The halter style is commonly used with swimsuits, which enables the wearer to maximize sun tan exposure on the back and minimize tan lines. The halter style is also used with dresses or shirts, to create a backless dress or top. The neck strap can itself be covered by the wearer's hair, leaving the impression from behind that nothing is holding the dress or shirt up. If a bra is worn with a halter top, it is generally either strapless or of halterneck construction itself, so as to avoid exposing the back straps of a typical bra...
